Benjamin Peter Lang is currently living and working in Montreal, Quebec. His interest in disrupting habitual ways of seeing space and material objectivity lies at the centre of a predominantly painting and installation practice. His work utilizes transparency and permeability to confuse meaning and offer alternative pathways to understanding how environments exist through the body. These material site integrations open up a poetic dialogue between the viewer and the potency of an architecture that pulls experiential and relational ties into the foreground.
