Ben Lang is an emerging interdisciplinary artist currently based in Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph, Ontario. His work uses digital methods and painting to explore the concept of the landscape and how its rendering interacts with a greater cultural understanding of the environment and human patterns of representation. He often incorporates found imagery as well his own photographs to lay a perspectival foundation for his work. He is currently completing a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from the University of Guelph, having studied closely under Monica Tap, Robert Enright, and Diane Borsato.
